Visa

It is valid for up to one year or the length of treatment (whichever is less).

Medical escort visa: It is provided to persons accompanying the patient traveling to India for medical care on a medical visa. A close relative or friend of the patient can apply for this visa.

Hotels

India is an inexpensive country but depending on the region and budget, hotel tariff can range from $100 USD - $400 USD per night. One can also go for government of India approved habitations.

The currency of India is the Rupee (INR). 1USD=INR 48 approximately.

KUMBH MELA  
India is World famous for Kumbha Mela, a unique Pilgrimage Attraction of India.Kumbha Mela at Allahabad Sangam(on the confluence of three rivers Ganga (Ganges), Yamuna and mythical Saraswati),is of international fame as "the world's most massive act of faith." Pilgrims come to witness, with much faith and in overwhelming numbers. This holy event happens every 12th year. The Next Kumbha Mela at Allahabad will be held on 27 January 2013.However smaller version of this event “Magh Mela” happens every year in the month of January.
   
VARANASI   
Varanasi is also commonly known as Benares or Kashi situated on the bank of river Ganges in Utter Pradesh about 320 Km from state capital Lucknow. Varanasi presents a unique combination of physical, metaphysical and supernatural elements. According to the Hindu mythology, Varanasi liberates soul from human body to the ultimate. It is the Ganga Ghats of Varanasi that complement the concept of divinity. The Ganga Ghats at Varanasi are full of pilgrims who flock to the place to take a dip in the holy Ganges, which is believed to absolve one from all sins.
Sarnath is one of the fore most important Buddhist pilgrimage centers of India. Buddha, the great sage , after attaining enlightenment (Buddha-hood) at Bodh Gaya came to Sarnath and delivered his first sermon to five disciples for redeeming humanity. It is this place where foundation of a new order of monks (Sangha) and a new order of religious doctrine (Dhamma) was laid. Sarnath is also sacred to the Jains because they look upon it as the site of asceticism and death of Shreyamshanath, the 11th Trithankara.
   
TAJ MAHAL   
One of the world's most famous monuments Taj Mahal is Sublime symbol of "the epitome of love" and "a monument of immeasurable beauty" located in Agra. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. The Taj Mahal has been considered the finest example of Mughal architecture which conflate the architectural styles of Islam, India and Persia. The Taj Mahal sparkles like a jewel in moonlight. The Taj Mahal is pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden when the moon shines. These changes depict the different moods of a beauty of any kind.
It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal between 1632-1653. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
   
KHAJURAHO   
Khajuraho has international fame for its Perfect blend of art, architecture and spirituality located in the provincial state of Madhya Pradesh, India. India's most popular tourist destinations Khajuraho is famous for its excellent erotic sculptures etched on both internal and external walls of temple. The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India's unique gift of love to the world represent the expression of a highly matured civilization. The construction of these Temples is thousand year old, took a little over two centuries to build. In terms of architecture of these temples, they form the high peak of the north Indian 'Nagara' style.
